Event Access and Inclusion

I want my events to be welcoming and accessible to as many people as possible.

My evenings of mediumship are held at independent venues throughout Canberra and regional New South Wales. Because each venue is different, accessibility features and facilities will vary from one event to another.

Where possible, accessibility information will be included in the individual event listing. If you have a particular access requirement, please contact me before booking so I can confirm what is available at the venue.

Checking access before an event

You are welcome to contact me about:

  • Step-free entry and accessible paths

  • Wheelchair and mobility-aid access

  • Accessible toilets

  • Accessible parking and drop-off areas

  • Seating arrangements

  • Lighting and sound

  • Quiet-space availability

  • Early entry to avoid a crowded foyer

  • Public transport near the venue

  • Any other access requirement that may affect your visit

People with mobility, vision, hearing, sensory, cognitive or communication needs are welcome to discuss reasonable adjustments with me. This also includes people with temporary injuries and older attendees.

I will do what I reasonably can to support your attendance and will be honest with you about what is available at each venue.

Support people and companion tickets

Support workers, carers and companions are welcome to attend.

If you hold a Companion Card or require a support person to attend with you, please contact me before booking to discuss the ticket arrangements. Complimentary companion tickets are available by prior arrangement.

Assistance animals

Assistance animals are welcome. Please contact me before booking so I can confirm the venue arrangements and make your arrival as straightforward as possible.

Seating and early entry

If you require a wheelchair space, aisle seating, seating near an exit or another particular seating arrangement, please let me know before the event.

I can also work with the venue to arrange early entry where available for people who would benefit from entering before the main audience.

Some arrangements depend on the facilities and cooperation of the individual venue, so advance notice is appreciated.

Participating during the event

Audience participation is always optional.

You will never be required to accept a communication, speak in front of the audience or disclose personal information. If I approach you during the event, you are welcome to tell me that you would prefer not to participate.

Contact me

If you have questions about access or would like to discuss an adjustment, please use my contact form or call me on 0416 268 083.

Where possible, please contact me before purchasing your ticket. The earlier I know what you need, the more time I have to check the venue and make suitable arrangements.

Access information may occasionally change due to circumstances outside my control. If I become aware of a significant change affecting an advertised event, I will update the event information wherever possible.

Feedback about access and inclusion at my events is always welcome.
