You bring the situation, and everything that comes through is focused on that, not a general look at your life.

I don't really believe in this stuff. Will it still work if I'm skeptical? Being skeptical doesn't rule you out. Plenty of people who come to this are curious rather than convinced, and that's a fine place to start from.

Everyone around me has an opinion on what I should do. Why would this be any different? This isn't another opinion added to the pile. It's dedicated time, away from everyone else's views, to hear what comes through for you specifically about your own situation.

You don't need to be in crisis for a change like this to be worth sitting with properly.
